Event Description
Buses will be located at the finish line of the Texas 4000 ATLAS Ride on Saturday, May 30th and will be paired with a unique box truck for bike transport. Riders wishing to ride the bus back to the start line in Cedar Park will need to purchase one $20 ticket per person. The ticket covers transport of one person and one bike. Shuttle times are subject to slight change (no more than 15-30 minutes).
Texas 4000 cultivates student leaders and engages communities in the fight against cancer. We share hope, knowledge and charity through leadership development, grantmaking, special events, and our cornerstone program, a more than 4,000–mile bicycle ride from Austin to Anchorage. Texas 4000 is unique in that we combine leadership development with cancer advocacy, research funding and endurance training.

Each year we competitively select University of Texas students for our 18-month program and empower each student to raise $4,500, ride 1,500 training miles with his/her team, volunteer more than 50 hours in the community, and play an active role in planning every aspect of the ride to Alaska by attending weekly meetings and taking leadership positions within the team. Last year we celebrated ten successful years of developing leaders and completing summer rides, raising more than $4.5 million to date.
The ATLAS Ride is day 1 of 70 for these riders, and you have a chance to be there to cheer them on!
