ABOUT TEXAS 4000
Texas 4000 is a non-profit, University of Texas student organization dedicated to fighting cancer. Each year, a team of dedicated UT students completes a 4,500 mile bike ride from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska. Along the way, we share our key pillars of Hope, Knowledge, and Charity with the communities we pass through. The Texas 4000 ride is the longest annual charity bike ride in the world, and over the last 10 years, Texas 4000 has contributed over $4 million to Texan cancer fighting programs, such as UT's M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Biomedical Engineering Department.

THE 2014 RIDER CUP CLASSIC
Every year, Texas 4000 looks to give the community an opportunity to support a life-changing cause, and we want you to be a part of this year's Rider Cup Classic!

Location
The 2014 Texas 4000 Rider Cup Classic will be held at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa on March 31, 2014. Designed by Masters Tournament Champion and Austin native Ben Crenshaw, Barton Creek's Crenshaw Cliffside is rated as one of the top 50 courses in Texas by the Dallas Morning News.

Tournament Format
The 2014 Texas 4000 Rider Cup Classic will be a scramble-format shotgun start, with a tee time of 1:30 PM.

Dinner & Awards Ceremony
After play has concluded, Texas 4000 will be providing a traditional Texan dinner, including smoked sausage, barbecue ribs, and smoked brisket, with vegetarian options. During that time, members of the current Texas 4000 team will speak to their motivation behind what drives Texas 4000's annual bike ride. Play and raffle prizes will also be awarded at this time.

Play Fee
The play fee is $150 per player, or $600 per foursome. The fee includes green fee, cart, range balls, goodie bag, dinner, and tournament prizes.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
As a non-profit organization, Texas 4000 thrives on the generosity of local Austin individuals and businesses. The 2014 Texas 4000 Rider Cup is a product of that interaction and a step towards a cancer-free world. If you want to be instrumental in the success of the 2014 Texas 4000 Rider Cup, contact Ethan Perez, the 2014 Fundraising and Business Development Chair at ethan@ethanperez.com or (956) 357-7282.
